Lives not Knives

Officers are investigating after a man was stabbed in Loughborough earlier this afternoon (Tuesday 5 March). A report was received at 1.10pm that a 38-year-old man had been found in Freehold Street, Loughborough, suffering from what was believed to be a stab wound to the abdomen. He has been taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham and his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. A scene preservation is in place and enquiries are ongoing in the local area. Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have any information about the circumstances leading up to it is urged to contact the police.
